Abstract: Based on the basic question of “how to explore the effective path to promote growth of knowledge workers’ creativity”, focusing on 197 knowledge workers from 41 banks as empirical samples, this study establishes a theoretical model of mediated moderator based on the social recognition theory by reviewing relevant literatures and conducting an empirical study with the method of multiple regression analysis. The results reveal that the relationship between intrinsic motivation, knowledge sharing intention and employees’ creativity are positive.Meanwhile there is a partly mediating effect of knowledge sharing intention on the relationship between intrinsic motivation and employees’ creativity. Furthermore, the moderating role of self-efficacy on the relationship between intrinsic motivation and employees’ creativity is fully mediated by knowledge sharing intention. The results can help enterprises better understand the importance of knowledge workers’ intrinsic motivation, and its effect on employees’ creativity through knowledge sharing intention.
